Musotoku’s Rover R-1 is the brand’s first wireless battery pack: a lightweight addition to your tattoo machine with the same features that have made previous Musotoku power supplies so popular.

The Rover R-1 boasts consistent power regardless of battery percentage, as well as a durable 3.5 mm connection, contained within a compact aerospace-grade aluminium body.

This compact battery pack for tattoo machines with a 3.5 mm connection is powered by easily replaceable and rechargeable lithium ion batteries, and comes with a USB compatible charging dock.

The battery pack supplies 5-12 V of power, adjustable in 0.1 V increments, and with Musotoku’s NITRO jumpstart feature, even machines with brushless motors will start without delay. The Rover R-1 keeps power levels consistent, and turns off automatically when the battery is drained - and with more than 1,000 health checks per second, your machine is well-protected.

The 1.25 cm OLED display features essential information, including your current voltage, and a machine power sensor to indicate your current level of battery demand. The higher the level shown, the faster the battery will drain, allowing you to clearly see how your style of work affects power usage. Musotoku estimates that the batteries will last for 2-7 hours from a full charge, and has provided a second battery and USB compatible charger to eliminate downtime.

Musotoku has designed this battery pack to be travel-friendly, with the removable batteries ensuring it’s suitable for air travel. At the end of the Li-ion battery’s life, you can simply replace them with new 18350 batteries to keep using your Rover R-1 indefinitely.

This version of the Musotoku Rover R-1 comes with a 3.5 mm Cheyenne-type connection, designed specifically for use with Cheyenne machines. It fits perfectly into the HAWK Pen Unio and HAWK Thunder tattoo machines, and the added O-rings ensure it fits machines with larger sockets, such as SOL Nova and HAWK Pen machines.
