Run by the Barcelona Art and Urban Movement group, BAUM Fest 2022 is running from 7-9th October at the Fira Barcelona Exhibition Centre.

Originally known as the Barcelona Tattoo Convention when it began 25 years ago, BAUM Fest remains in the heart of Barcelona. The three-day tattoo convention is dedicated to changing public perception of the sector and art form, and normalising tattoo culture.

As the name suggests, BAUM Fest is no longer just a tattoo convention – it’s grown to become a host to several alternative events, including a motorbike show, urban culture festival, and extreme sports competition.

More than 300 tattoo artists will be in attendance, including a few of our sponsored artists! Find Danish tattoo artist Mads Thill for intricate yet large-scale designs, often covering whole bodies, or check out Thomas Carli Jarlier, the French artist creating incredible black and grey realism.

If you’re looking for a colour realism piece, Jose Gonzalez and David Barrera are your guys, tattooing incredible portraits of rockstars and movie icons (among other things).

There’ll be plenty to explore, from graffiti exhibitions, break dance performances and a custom motoring area with exhibitors and workshops. The village will have plenty of shopping opportunities for tattoo artists and collectors alike, and when you get hungry, you can head to the Gastronomic Zone which is filled with bars and food trucks.

BAUM Fest will be open from 11am-11pm on the 7th and 8th, finishing at 10pm on the 9th. You can get access to all three days for €48, and under 8s enter free with a legal guardian, so buy online or on the door!
