Stigma® has been making rotary tattoo machines since their first adjustable rotary in 2005. The AMEN is the latest machine released by Stigma® and in terms of lining is a revelation.  The machine was designed with Lining in mind, however can also be adjusted to perform optimally for all purposes. With its new patent pending drive system you are able to adjust not just the stroke length but also the duration of time that the needle spends in the skin and the duration of time that the needle spends in the tube per cycle. For lining the effect is that the needle moves faster on the down stroke and then rests in the upper position for a short while. There are 3 strokers delivered with each machine. BLACK  STROKER ( LINER ) 3,8 MM STROKE LENGTH WITH 35% VS 65% DURATION TIME. GRAY  STROKER ( ALL PURPOSE ) 3,5 MM STROKE LENGTH WITH 45% VS 55% DURATION TIME. SILVER  STROKER ( SHADER ) 3,0 MM STROKE LENGTH WITH 50% VS 50% DURATION TIME. When fitted with either the 3,8mm lining stroker and with the 3,5mm all-purpose stroker the needles spend more time in the tube and less time in the skin, causing much less trauma and enabling effortless penetration. When the needles move down and up to penetrate the skin, they move faster than on standard rotaries. The AMEN functions like a standard rotary when the 3.0mm shading stroker is installed. It has a 50% down stroke action and a 50% up stroke action, making it optimal for shading.
