Cheyenne Needle Cartridges
Made in Germany, Cheyenne needle cartridges are some of the most recognisable in the industry, offering artists a quickly interchangeable system that makes their life easier.
Tattoo cartridges from Cheyenne allow artists to change between needle configurations in seconds, saving them time and money!
Read on to learn about the full line-up of Cheyenne cartridges, including the popular Safety carts, transparent Clear Craft versions and latest Capillary variants, and just why they are some of the best tattoo cartridges around!
Cheyenne Safety Cartridges
Introduced back in 2007, Cheyenne Safety Cartridges are the mother of all tattoo needle cartridge systems and brought about a revolution to the tattooing industry.
Cheyenne’s Safety Cartridges set the standard for needle cartridges that are quickly and easily interchangeable, as well as including an integrated membrane that keeps ink and blood contained in the cartridge and away from the grip and machine.
The needles from the Safety cartridges will protrude out the end of the tip when the spring-loaded needle bar plunger is pressed in and will simply return to their normal starting position when pressure is released, making it safe and easy to dispose of.
Cheyenne Safety Cartridges are available in a range of configurations, including Liners, Power Liners, Shaders, Magnums, Soft-Edge Magnums, and Flats. For every box of 20 Safety cartridges sold, Cheyenne will donate part of the proceeds to Sea Shepherd, a non-profit organisation that fights for marine conservation and to protect our oceans.
Cheyenne Craft Cartridges
Following the Safety cartridges were the Cheyenne Craft Cartridges, which have all the qualities you have come to expect from Cheyenne: excellent needle cartridges that are easy to use and replace.
What sets the Craft Cartridges apart from the Safety versions is the simplified design, as the plastic tips are made from a single mould of medical-grade plastic. They have been designed to withstand the continuous movement of the needles within, so they will not break up and release small bits of plastic into your client’s skin.
The Cheyenne Craft Cartridges are available in four configurations: Liner, Shader, Magnum, and Soft-Edge Magnum. As with the Safety cartridges before it, the Craft carts feature an internal membrane and every purchase of a box of 20 units equals a donation to Sea Shepherd from Cheyenne.
Cheyenne Clear Craft Cartridges
Cheyenne Clear Craft Cartridges are the next evolution of the manufacturer’s cost-effective Craft carts.
Cheyenne updated its Craft Cartridges to now feature a colourless, transparent housing for a clear view of the ink flow within. In addition, Cheyenne has slightly adapted the shape of the Clear Craft Cartridges with grooves and a sleeker shape to support handling when changing cartridges and during tattooing.
Compatible with grips and machines that accept Cheyenne-type needle cartridges, the Clear Craft Carts are available in the same four configurations as the standard Craft versions: Liner, Shader, Magnum, and Soft-Edge Magnum.
Cheyenne Capillary Cartridges
Cheyenne Capillary Cartridges offer tattoo artists a new and improved working experience.
Inside the tips of the cartridges are capillaries with ink reservoirs, which allow the cartridges to absorb and hold more tattoo ink than conventional offerings. The result is an ink flow that lasts up to 10 times longer than usual before needing to be dipped into your ink cap.
Colour mixing in the cartridge is still guaranteed and they are easy to completely clean with water. In addition, the Cheyenne Capillary Cartridges offer improved needle guidance for ultra-precise work in any direction.
Cheyenne’s Capillary Cartridges ensure that tattoo ink is evenly distributed on all individual needles, even in large magnum configurations. This results in better tattooing results and less trauma to the skin, as surfaces are filled consistently, reliably and more quickly.
In addition, they also feature coloured caps for easy identification of the needle configuration during the tattooing session.
