DarkLab App & eGive - Tips, Tricks & Troubleshooting
Developed by the team behind the popular FK Irons and Spektra Rotary tattoo machines, the DarkLab app allows artists to connect their equipment via Bluetooth for firmware updates, voice control, utilising eGive, and more.
In our latest video review, we took a look at how the app works with DarkLab’s Hover power supply and Lightning Bolt battery pack, as well as the PowerBolt that features on the FK Irons EXO and Spektra Flux tattoo machines.
We also offer an in-depth look into the eGive feature, which allows tattoo artists to electronically control the amount of “give,” or resistance of the needle upon impact with the skin, on their machines – even those with a direct drive. This enables them to alter the softness or hardness of their machines hit to achieve specific results.
Make sure you watch our video below for some tips, tricks and troubleshooting advice when using the DarkLab app and eGive!
