An Italian tattooist with a love of Japanese body art, Caterina Molin is a hugely talented artist with a portfolio that gets stronger each year.

Like many tattoo artists before her, Belluno-born Caterina was interested in art from a young age, preferring rainy days in school so she could stay in class to draw. Her love of art only grew stronger over the years and set Caterina upon the path to becoming the tattooist we all know and love today

After enrolling in an academy in Milan, she met Sabrina De Fazio, owner of the Sabri Ink Lady studio, who took Caterina under her wing and introduced her to another mentor and influential figure in her tattooing career, Costantino Sasso.

Gaining knowledge and experience from the tutelage of Sabrina and Costantino, as well as working at the latter’s studio in Marigliano, Caterina began to develop her style from new school to traditional, before finding her true passion with Japanese tattoos.

Caterina can now be found working at Santos Tattoo in Gallarate, Italy and The Flying Dutchman in Naters, Switzerland. She is also a regular on the convention scene, most notably having picked up ‘Best Small Colour’ and ‘Best Medium Colour’ at the Milano Tattoo Convention’s 25th anniversary edition in 2020.

To create her stunning Japanese tattoos and ornamental body art, Caterina uses a variety of supplies and equipment from Killer Ink Tattoo.
