A lover of all things pop culture, British tattooist Matt Daniels, aka Stickypop, is the go-to artist for all things anime, cartoon and videogame!

Matt started his journey into the art world as a self-taught graphic designer and quickly picked up the moniker of “super doodler” for his signature sketch-like style.

After joining Studio IX in Manchester as an apprentice and trying his hand at other styles including dot work and mandalas, Matt found his calling with a mix of bright, vibrant pop culture pieces and big, bold traditional tattoos.

With his apprenticeship finished, Matt made the move to Chapel Street Tattoo Studio in Chorley, where he further honed his skills for 1.5 years before opening his own private studio, Season One Tattoo, in Preston in 2019.

Although his studio surroundings may have changed, Matt’s loyalty to pop culture tattoos never wavered and continued to go from strength to strength. If tattoos based on anime, manga, cartoons, videogames or any other pop culture phenomenon are what you’re looking for, then Matt is your guy!

To create his eye-catching body art, Matt uses various supplies from Killer Ink, including Cheyenne tattoo machines and Eternal Tattoo Ink.
